The National Crime Victim Bar Association is an affiliated program of the National Center for Victims of Crime. Its purpose is to educate lawyers, victim service providers, victims themselves, and the public at large about the resources and legal remedies available to crime victims. They provide technical support to attorneys who represent crime victims in civil actions, through their database of more than 11,000 civil crime cases, and through various other means. They are also crime victim advocates through legislation.

Marc Lenahan's reputation for being honest, truly caring about his clients, and representing only those victims he believes in, will only aid him in his new endeavor. As the 2013 President-Elect for the National Crime Victim Bar Association, and thus 2014 President, he will be able to further expand his advocation of crime victims.
